Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Falls Lake). They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Franklin Academy Patriots on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Firebirds have won by exactly 11 runs.
Wynterlee Glenn was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She also allowed four hits, marking her first of the season. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jolie Sensenig, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-6. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024.
