Seven Rivers Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic as they made off with a 19-9 win. Considering the Warriors' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The team relied heavily on Madalyn Luider, who went 4-for-5 with four stolen bases, nine RBI, and four runs. Those nine RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lexi Outler, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Seven Rivers Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bishop McLaughlin Catholic only managed four hits.
Cambridge Christian not only won last Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 27th (when they won 25-10). They put the hurt on All Saints' Academy with a sharp 17-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won eight matches by seven runs or more so far this season.
Ella Swigart made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). Swigart was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Cambridge Christian got a massive performance out of Tessa Nichols, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. Nichols is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games she's played. Addie Hovis was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Seven Rivers Christian's record now sits at 8-18. As for Cambridge Christian, their record is now 13-8.
