The Wynot Blue Devils stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past Laurel-Concord-Coleridge 70-50. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Wynot also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Zack Foxhoven was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with eight assists and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Chase Schroeder was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Despite the loss, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge still got an impressive performance from Gibson Roberts, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Haisch, who scored nine points.
Wynot has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.
Wynot will head out on the road to take on Walthill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Walthill is coming into the match with seven straight wins at home, meaning Wynot will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge will take on Wausa at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
