On Thursday, The Pauls Valley Panthers never let their opponents score. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Douglass 48-0 on the road. Given Pauls Valley's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 56th, while Douglass is ranked 212th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Among those leading the charge was Maddex Prince, who rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 36 receiving yards. Prince really tore up the turf during one magnificent 82-yard run.
The win was the third in a row for Pauls Valley, bringing their record for this year to 6-3. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39.67 points. As for Douglass, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Pauls Valley will head out on the road to face off against Lone Grove at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Lone Grove is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Douglass, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dickson at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Dickson is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
