Six Rivers recap Oct. 30, 2012
Potosi extended the longest winning streak in Six Rivers this week by beating Highland, 19-0. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.
Potosi took down the Cardinals 19-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jase Udelhofen ran for 162 yards in the win.
5-foot-9 quarterback Tim Fritz of Mark Siegert's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1332. He has also thrown 21 touchdowns. On the ground, Highland's Caleb Yager has rushed for 1336 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Josh Korte. The Benton/Scales Mound IL star has 10 catches for 393 yards.
Nathan Houtakker has rushed for 932 yards on 158 carries so far this year.
Pecatonica/Argyle made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,121 from 8,560.
