The biggest upset of the week belonged to Waldwick/Midland Park, who took down 204th ranked Waldwick/Midland Park, 12-7.
Queen of Peace moved up to 231 from 267 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in North Jersey - Meadowlands. The Golden Griffins climbed the ranks as a result of a 12-7 win over the Warriors.
Angelo Nocciolo put up the best numbers through the air as North Arlington lost to Saddle Brook. He finished with a total of nine completions for 79 yards and one touchdown. Nocciolo's favorite target this week was Nicholas Martin, who caught three passes for 38 yards.
Roy Forys was the best wideout in the league this week as Becton fell to Palisades Park/Leonia. Forys racked up three receptions for 70 yards. Jesse Foote helped Becton's passing attack out by catching five balls for 56 yards.
Eric Johnson was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 81 yards on 13 carries as the Tigers lost to the Tigers. Teammate Robert Then added to the ground attack by rushing for 70 yards.
The Vikings' Nocciolo and Mike Brazzel have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading North Jersey - Meadowlands in both passing and receiving yards. Nocciolo has thrown for 1076 yards this season, while Brazzel, a 5-foot-7 receiver, has 17 catches for 389 yards. Hasbrouck Heights's Anthony Seidel leads the league in rushing yards with 605.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Aviators take on the Falcons. Hasbrouck Heights' offense has scored 184 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Saddle Brook has allowed only 48 on the year.
