Basketball Recap: ALA - Gilbert North Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

ALA - Gilbert North entered their game against St. Mary on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The ALA - Gilbert North Eagles fell 63-55 to the St. Mary's Knights. The Eagles were probably out for revenge after losing 87-77 to them when the teams met back in February of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

ALA - Gilbert North lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Conner Morris, who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine boards. The matchup was Morris' third in a row with at least ten points. Viktor Babic was another key player, going 6 of 10 en route to 15 points and five rebounds.

ALA - Gilbert North's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5. As for St. Mary's, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-7.
