The Wisdom Generals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their seventh straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 49-27 walloping at the hands of Milby. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Wisdom in their matchups with Milby: they've now lost six in a row.
Jacob Carrizalez was his usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals for Milby. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Sanchez, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Wisdom bumped their record down to 2-14 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Milby, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-16.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wisdom will challenge Northside at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Northside's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches. As for Milby, they will head out on the road to challenge Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
