Starting off the list is Rocky Ford's Isaiah Gallegos, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Thursday Gallegos rushed for 168 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 215 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. While Las Animas might've come up empty on Friday, Orion Martinez wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the defeat, Martinez was still balling out as he rushed for 181 yards and a touchdown.
For the year, Martinez has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 203.8 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 50.2 rushing yards per game.

Ethan Bronniman was instrumental in extending McClave's winning streak to five on Friday. Bronniman was dynamite, throwing for 82 yards and two touchdowns on only five passes, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground.
McClave pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Bronniman and McClave will be playing at home against Las Animas at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
