Carroll (Southlake, Texas) beat Keller Central (Keller, Texas) 59-0 while riding the arm of
Kenny Hill, who tossed four touchdown passes.
The Dragons were up 35-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Hill to
Mike Gardiner in the first quarter.
Carroll expanded its lead to 43 points entering the fourth quarter. CHS scored two times in the third, including once on a
AJ Ezzard touchdown run.
Even though the Southlake school led by 43 points entering the fourth quarter, it poured the points on, scoring 16 in the fourth.
The Dragons' most effective player was Hill. The senior quarterback ran for one touchdown. A member of the Top 25 Combo Quarterbacks, Hill has now scored 10 touchdowns on the season.
Carroll also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 24-21.
The loss comes after Keller Central defeated Lamar 27-20 last week. The loss snapped the Chargers' 2-game winning streak. With the win CHS extended its winning streak to three games.
In a 5A Region I District 4 game next week Keller Central (2-2) takes on Keller, and Carroll (3-1) will go up against Timber Creek also in a 5A Region I District 4 game.
