Akol Machteng continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Doneilious King j.r, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Mekeel Christian Academy's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1. As for Utica Academy of Science, their victory bumped their record up to 4-14.
Everything came up roses for Mekeel Christian Academy against Utica Academy of Science in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 97-65 win.
