Several Archers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Elisha McDorman, who scored 23 points along with two steals. It was the first time this season that McDorman scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Patrick Crotts, who scored seven points along with 13 rebounds and three blocks.
Levi Gaskins continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Asheboro Hybrid Academy, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Gaskins is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last six games he's played. Justin Kearns was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Bradford Academy dropped their record down to 0-14 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.0 points per game. As for Asheboro Hybrid Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-8.
Bradford Academy will head out on the road to challenge the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Asheboro Hybrid Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season. As for they, they will be playing at home against Rockwell Christian School at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in North Carolina (Rockwell Christian School is ranked 583rd, while the Warriors are ranked 605th).
