Meanwhile, Holdrege's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Cozad 83-32. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Holdrege has scored all season.
Adams Central is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Holdrege, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
