The University Eagles made easy work of the Pontiac Academy for Excellence Eagles on Tuesday and carried off an 80-55 win.
The victory bumped University's record up to 8-5. This is the second loss in a row for Pontiac and nudges their record down to 4-10.
University will square off against Berkley on Tuesday. University is at home for the game, a silver lining they hope will compensate for their disadvantage in the MaxPreps rankings. Pontiac will stay at home against Michigan Math & Science on Tuesday. Michigan Math & Science is looking for a pick-me-up after an 80-35 blowout loss to Advanced Tech Academy.
