There's no place like home for the Ocean City Raiders, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They managed a 47-43 victory over Atlantic County Institute of Tech on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ocean City also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2022.
Ocean City was led to victory by Marley Ostrander and McKenna Chisholm. Ostrander scored eight points along with three steals, while Chisholm scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brielle Smith, who scored six points along with two steals.
Ocean City's victory bumped their record up to 6-17. As for Atlantic County Institute of Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.
Ocean City will head out on the road to challenge Camden Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in New Jersey (Ocean City is ranked 180th, while Camden Catholic is ranked 205th). Atlantic County Institute of Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
