Orange Grove is a perfect 8-0 against West Oso since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Bears at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Orange Grove 14, West Oso 9.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
Orange Grove will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Edna, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Bulldogs walked away with a 34-21 victory over the Cowboys on Friday. The Bulldogs' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Orange Grove found their leader in sophomore Daniel Bahn, who rushed for 238 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 13.2 yards per carry. Those 238 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Bahn. The team also got some help courtesy of Linden Rodriguez, who rushed for 112 yards and one score on only 11 carries.
Orange Grove was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 353 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

While West Oso didn't have the best season last year (they finished 0-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Palacios by a score of 18-8 on Friday.
Orange Grove better keep an eye on Ryan Guerrero. He was instrumental in West Oso's win, rushing for 115 yards while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.
Orange Grove's record now sits at 4-0. As for West Oso, their record is now an identical 4-0.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Orange Grove has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 250.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like West Oso struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 248.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Orange Grove against West Oso in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 42-13 victory. In that contest, the Bulldogs amassed a halftime lead of 28-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
