Timberlake has gone a perfect 4-0 against Riverside recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Tigers will host the Rams at 3:30 p.m. Timberlake will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Timberlake is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Kellogg 23-1 on Monday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Eric Wylie made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Timberlake is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 1-2 otherwise. Wylie was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those four runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tanner Van Tassel, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ryker Brennan, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
Timberlake always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .610. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kellogg only posted an OBP of .250.
Riverside kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 16-6 to East Valley.
Like Timberlake, Riverside also got a great game from a two-way player: Austin Jenkinson. He pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Jenkinson was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.
The victory got Timberlake back to even at 3-3. As for Riverside, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Timberlake got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Riverside by a conclusive 19-6 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
