The McKeel Academy Wildcats will play host again and welcome the Davenport Broncos, where tip off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, McKeel Academy humbled Vanguard with a 79-23 victory.
Alex Sessoms continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 40 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of McKeel Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Toby Thompson, who scored 7 points along with 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Davenport beat Kathleen 76-63 on Tuesday.
McKeel Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Davenport, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
McKeel Academy came up short against Davenport when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 60-49. Thankfully for McKeel Academy, Chase Ragin-Moore (who scored 21 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
