Dontaye Dunkle Jr. was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Emanuel Colon, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
Barack Obama School for Social Justice now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Gorton, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-5.
