The Johnstown Sir Bills lost against the Amsterdam Rams back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Johnstown took a 63-45 bruising from Amsterdam. Johnstown has not had much luck with Amsterdam recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Amsterdam found their leader in underclassman Aundray Fowler, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jude Flint, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Johnstown's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Amsterdam, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.
Johnstown will take on Broadalbin-Perth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Broadalbin-Perth will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 327th, while Johnstown is ranked 109th). Amsterdam won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mekeel Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on December 9th.
