The Lake Havasu Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Mohave at home and fell 44-15. Lake Havasu lost against Mohave in their previous head to head last Saturday, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 27-12 score last time.
Lake Havasu's defeat was their sixth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-9. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.0 points per game. As for Mohave, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Havasu will take on Mingus at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mingus has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 392 points over their last six contests. As for Mohave, they will head out on the road to face off against Marcos de Niza at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Marcos de Niza focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Wednesday.
