The Bartow Yellow Jackets will head out on the road to face off against the Sebring Blue Streaks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Bartow has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 23 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 79-40 win over George Jenkins at home. 79 seems to be a good number for Bartow as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Among those leading the charge was Jayson Williams, who scored 20 points along with 5 steals. Nate Smathers was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Meanwhile, Sebring's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They really took it to Lake Wales for the full four quarters, racking up a 78-50 victory at home. The victory was just what Sebring needed coming off of a 86-47 defeat in their prior game.
It was another big night for Jordan Gregory, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was KJ Turner, who scored 9 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds.
Their wins bumped Bartow to 3-3 and George Jenkins to 2-2.
Bartow came up short against Sebring in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 53-48. Can Bartow avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
