Last Thursday, All Saints Episcopal took a serious blow against the Guard, falling 59-8. While losing is never fun, All Saints Episcopal can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1140th, while the Guard are ranked 541st).
Meanwhile, McKinney Christian Academy came up short against the Eagles on Saturday and fell 48-41. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for McKinney Christian Academy in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.
All Saints Episcopal has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for McKinney Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18.
Everything went All Saints Episcopal's way against the Mustangs in their previous matchup back in January as the Trojans made off with a 55-30 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for All Saints Episcopal since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
