They walked away with a 50-40 win over Temple Christian. That's another feather in the cap for Cornerstone Christian Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Joseph Lemmon was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points. Lemmon is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Lemmon, who scored ten points.
Cornerstone Christian Academy pushed their record up to 12-2 with that win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Temple Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
Cornerstone Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Lions at 5:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Sandhills Classical Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. Temple Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
