Couldn't have asked for a better start to 2024 than the 71-29 blowout they got at home against Pisgah. St. Andrew's Episcopal's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Andrew's Episcopal to victory, but perhaps none more so than Larrson Calhoun, who scored ten points along with eight assists and six steals. That's the first time this season that Calhoun posted eight or more assists. Drew McDonald was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
St. Andrew's Episcopal's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9. As for Pisgah, they bumped their record down to 7-13 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
St. Andrew's Episcopal will look to defend their home court on Friday against Pelahatchie at 7:30 p.m. Pelahatchie presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than St. Andrew's Episcopal in Mississippi (Pelahatchie is ranked 81st, while St. Andrew's Episcopal is ranked 264th). Pisgah will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Puckett at 7:30 p.m. on January 4th.
