Fort Payne has gone 9-0-1 against Southside recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Fort Payne duke it out with Southside at 7:00 p.m. Fort Payne's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Fort Payne's offense. They came up short against Ravenwood last Saturday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Fort Payne can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 85th in Alabama, while Ravenwood are ranked ninth in Tennessee).

Meanwhile, Southside unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak last Saturday. They lost 4-1 to Spanish Fort. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, Southside couldn't push the score so high this time.

Southside's loss dropped their record down to 13-2. As for Fort Payne, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-2.
