Meanwhile, Oconto Falls' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their eighth straight loss. They were dealt a 87-41 defeat at the hands of Freedom. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Oconto Falls has suffered yet this season.
Oconto Falls' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jameson Beaman, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds, and Alex Haines who scored ten points along with two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Grayson Cahak, who scored five points.
Little Chute pushed their record up to 6-5 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Oconto Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.
Everything came up roses for Little Chute against Oconto Falls in their previous meeting back in November of 2023 as the team secured a 66-32 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Haines, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
