Lewis Central's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 27 points in the first half. Carlisle came up with 7 to make it 27-7 heading into the break. The other side of the ball continued to do well for Lewis Central in the second half and held Carlisle to 0 points. The victory bumped Lewis Central's record up to 1-0. The loss started Carlisle out at 1-0 for the season.
Next week, Lewis Central take on Lincoln at 7:00 PM. Carlisle are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Creston/Orient-Macksburg next week .
