The North Gaston Wildcats will square off against the Stuart W. Cramer Storm at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Stuart W. Cramer's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: North Gaston hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Wildcats never let Ashbrook get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory on Thursday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 13 runs or more this season.
Parker Gordon made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Those 13 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, North Gaston got a massive performance out of Maddie Carpenter, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave Carpenter a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Layla Love, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-3.
North Gaston was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Stuart W. Cramer came into Wednesday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 12-8 win over Palisades on Wednesday.
Addie Payseur was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dani Tejada, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Stuart W. Cramer's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for North Gaston, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. North Gaston hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .325. However, it's not like Stuart W. Cramer struggles in that department as they've averaged .313. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
