On Thursday, Swansboro are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Richlands at 6:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Swansboro took care of business in their home opener. They took their contest against Croatan last Thursday 14-0. The score was all tied up at the break, but Swansboro was the better team in the second half.
Meanwhile, Richlands found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-34 punch to the gut against White Oak last week.
Swansboro's win lifted them to 1-0 while Richlands's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Swansboro can add another positive mark to their record or if Richlands can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Swansboro's step.
