The Trinity Wolves will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Mt. Shasta Bears at 7:30 p.m. Trinity comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 12 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
Last Friday, Trinity had to suffer through a rough 48-6 loss at the hands of Hamilton.
Trinity's loss came about despite a quality game from Ty Moodie, who rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.
Mt. Shasta can finally bid farewell to their 12-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They blew past Willows 34-7 on the road. Mt. Shasta's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.
Trinity has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Mt. Shasta, they made their fans wait, but they finally earned their first win of the season and are now 1-6.
