On Friday, New Underwood are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Philip at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
New Underwood had enough points to win and then some against Rapid City Christian last Friday, winning 26-6.
Philip came within a touchdown against Jones County/White River last week, but wound up with a 13-22 loss.
New Underwood's win lifted them to 1-1 while Philip's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if New Underwood can add another positive mark to their record or if Philip can shake off the loss and take the spring out of New Underwood's step.
