The Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE lost against the Johnston Panthers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. Blackstone Valley Prep was beaten by Johnston 53-20. Blackstone Valley Prep has not had much luck with Johnston recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
 Johnston had a senior duo take command as  Jayanah Rollins  scored 15 points and  Aubree Allen  scored 11 points.
 Blackstone Valley Prep dropped their record down to 6-11 with that  defeat, which was their fifth straight  at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's  offensive performance across that stretch, as  they only averaged 24.0 points per game. As for Johnston, the  win was  the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-4.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blackstone Valley Prep will  face off against Hope at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in Rhode Island (Hope is ranked 25th, while Blackstone Valley Prep is ranked 42nd). As for Johnston, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Block Island at 12:30  p.m.  on Monday.
