Wesley Chapel couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-25 punch to the gut against Sunlake last Friday.
Meanwhile, Wiregrass Ranch might have drawn first blood against Zephyrhills last week, but it was Zephyrhills who got the last laugh. Wiregrass Ranch lost to Zephyrhills by a decisive 18-34 margin.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Wiregrass Ranch's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Wesley Chapel defensive front that amassed 6 sacks against Sunlake, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
