The Serra Cavaliers have the luxury  of staying home another  week and will welcome the Servite Friars at 7:00  p.m.  on November 17th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in the nation (Serra is ranked 73rd, while Servite is ranked 87th).
 Serra extended their postseason success on Friday against Los Alamitos. They walked away with a  38-28  victory over the Griffins.
  Cincere Rhaney was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 212 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Rhaney is on a roll when it comes to  rushing touchdowns, as he's now  punched in two or more in the last three games he's played.  Jimmy Butler was another key contributor, throwing for 240 yards and two touchdowns.
 On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Serra's defense and their 5.5 sacks. In that department,  Khary Wilder was the leader with four sacks.
 Meanwhile, Servite beat Long Beach Poly 27-20  on Friday. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Servite.
  Quaid Carr was the offensive standout of the  game as he rushed for 119 yards and  a touchdown. Carr is on a roll when it comes to  rushing yards, as he's now  rushed for 100 or more in the last five games he's played.  Gavin Gutierrez was in the mix  as well, providing Servite with two touchdowns.
 Serra pushed their record up to 9-3 with that  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.8 points per game. As for Servite, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
