Despite the loss, Marian saw an underclassman step up: McKenley Reid scored eight points along with five steals. Reid is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.
Gabriel Richard pushed their record up to 13-0 with that win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Marian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gabriel Richard will take on the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Divine Child will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 434th, while the Fighting Irish are ranked fourth). As for Marian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Arrows at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
