Alex Briney and Tyler Engel provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Rushville-Industry. The longest such play in Prairieland - Black this season, the connection resulted in 97 yards.
Lewistown made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,911 from 13,146. The advance stemmed from a 49-28 victory over the Indians last week.
Astoria-Table Grove VIT's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Briney threw for 198 and one touchdown and Engel had 195 yards receiving. On the ground Tyler Fulton chipped in 51 yards. Alex Dorethy helped Astoria-Table Grove VIT's passing attack out by catching two balls for 32 yards.
Astoria-Table Grove VIT's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Rebels feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Seth Kessler has thrown for 583 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Engel has 33 catches for 732 yards. Fulton leads the league in rushing with 426 yards.
Lewistown led the league in scoring this week after putting up 28 points on Lewistown.
