Divide County extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 3-0. They walked away with a 48-38 win over the Towner-Granville-Upham Titans. For the Maroons, this counts as revenge for the 46-42 victory the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2023.

Divide County can attribute much of their success to Weston Peterson, who rushed for 69 yards and one TD.

Having lost for the first time this season, Towner-Granville-Upham fell to 2-1. They gained 262 more yards on the day, but it was Divide County that made the best use of them.

Oliver Sveet and Fynn Livedalen certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Sveet picked up 270 receiving yards and five scores, while Livedalen threw for 311 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.5 yards per attempt. Sveet showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 63 yards.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Divide County will face off against rival Dunseith at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Towner-Granville-Upham is set to take on their familiar foe Kenmare/Bowbells/Burke Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
