Lee Academy have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will take on Kirk Academy at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Lee Academy are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
Lee Academy have had to suffer through a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 22-7 victory over Macon Road Baptist. The success represented a nice turnaround for Lee Academy, who in their last game suffered a tough 0-41 defeat.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Kirk Academy, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-40 to Pillow Academy.
Lee Academy's win lifted them to 2-5 while Kirk Academy's loss dropped them down to 1-7. We'll see if Lee Academy's success rolls on or if Kirk Academy are able to steal their positive momentum.
