After losing to Atchison the last time they met, Washington decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Washington Wildcats strolled past the Atchison Phoenix with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 57-42. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on six straight.

Washington's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jamari Williams led the charge by going 6 for 8 en route to 17 points and three steals. Williams has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Savion Stone, who posted ten points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Washington pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.8 points per game. As for Atchison, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.

Washington has already played their next contest (against Raytown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Atchison will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Highland Park on January 28th.
