It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lincoln can now relate to. They fell just short of the Rancho Mirage Rattlers by a score of 9-8 on Tuesday. The Hornets' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Brissa Hernandez was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs, three RBI, and one double while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Jada Blackman, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 20-12. As for Rancho Mirage, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Lincoln nor Rancho Mirage have any future games scheduled.
