It was a good run, but Riverside unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yazoo County Panthers. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Yazoo County, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Coincidentally, Riverside and Yazoo County will both be playing Clarksdale the next time they take the field. Riverside will host Clarksdale at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Yazoo County will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
