The Parkway Center City Bulldogs's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Martin Luther King Cougars at 3:15 p.m. on January 26th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Parkway Center City won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Sayre, falling 63-25. Parkway Center City was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-8.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jaden McKnight, who scored three points along with 14 rebounds and four steals. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kameron Fortune, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Martin Luther King's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 37-36 to Philadelphia Electric Charter.
Parkway Center City's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Martin Luther King, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
