The Social Circle Redskins can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 61-46 win over Stockbridge.
Stockbridge's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jason Brookins, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals, and Kameron Jackson who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jackson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Taylor, who scored six points along with 13 rebounds.
Social Circle's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Stockbridge, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-15.
Social Circle will take on George Walton Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully George Walton Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday. As for Stockbridge, they will be playing at home against Cristo Rey Atlanta at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
