Uxbridge had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Prouty on Monday. The Spartans blew past the Panthers 12-1. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Uxbridge pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Prouty, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Uxbridge will square off against Leicester at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wolverines have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.46 runs per game on average), something the Spartans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Prouty, they will challenge Murdock at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
