The San Juan Broncos's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They fell to Grand County 70-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (60), San Juan still had to take the loss.
Several Broncos players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jake Ivins, who scored 15 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Anthony Done, who scored 11 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
San Juan's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Grand County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Juan will take on Intermountain Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully San Juan focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday. As for Grand County, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Utah Military Academy - Hill Field at 7:00 p.m. Grand County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,245 points over their last 18 matches.
