The biggest upset of the week belonged to Solanco, who took down 204th ranked Elizabethtown, 28-7. Toby Kreider ran for 109 yards during the win.
Conestoga Valley moved up to 403 from 442 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Lancaster-Lebanon 2. The Buckskins were able to move up by falling to Lebanon 34-14.
Jhet Janis provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Cocalico bested Lampeter-Strasburg. He completed 2 passes for 19 yards and also ran for 167 yards.
Addison Hurst was the best receiver in the league this week as Conestoga Valley lost to the Cedars. Hurst tallied 7 receptions for 116 yards. David Vargas helped Conestoga Valley's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 22 yards.
5-foot-10 quarterback Grant Stoltzfus of Mark Pieters' team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 901. He has also thrown 9 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Arthur Quaye. The Elizabethtown star has 14 catches for 411 yards.
Fans will be treated to a premier battle in the secondary when the Bears' Quaye goes up against the Eagles' Janis.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Elizabethtown takes on Cocalico. At the moment, michael Cottle's team is in fifth, while Dave Gingrich's team is in second.
Manheim Central extended the longest winning streak in Lancaster-Lebanon 2 this week by beating Ephrata, 65-0. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
