Basketball Recap: Northwest Classical Academy Extends Winning Streak to Three

Northwest Classical Academy extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Drew Starstrom. The Spartans came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 64-58 W against the Hearts Academy Panthers thanks in part to Starstrom, who went 9-for-17 on his way to 25 points along with seven assists and three steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game.

Another player making a difference was Isaac Edwards, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Northwest Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Hearts Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Northwest Classical Academy will take on Mill Springs Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hearts Academy, they will face off against The Campus at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Panthers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
