Meanwhile, after soaring to 35 points the game before, San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy were a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were dealt a 69-12 loss at the hands of Wall. San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 55-0.
The losing side was boosted by Jeremiah Bullingor, who rushed for 41 yards and two touchdowns.
Ballinger's defeat was their ninth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-8. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 8-0 Clyde and 7-0 Stamford (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 69.2% over those games). As for San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
