There's no place like home for Chincoteague, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Nandua Warriors with a sharp 13-1 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Ponies, who have now won six games by ten runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Cheyenna Britton, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Carmela Rosanova was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Chincoteague always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Chincoteague now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Nandua, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Chincoteague wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Greenbrier Christian Academy on the 2nd. As for Nandua, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-1 defeat against Arcadia on the 6th.
